Jacqueline would have never imagined being where she is today. What started off networking for her own business, LegalShield, has turned into hosting networking events.

Jacqueline has admitted that she felt intimidated at networking events. Once Jacqueline understood that being herself was much more important than trying to impress those around her, she looked forward to attending events and getting more involved with them.

She learned from what others were doing and saying. She took that knowledge and turned it into the “BOSs’S Business Network”.

It started with six people and a monthly breakfast over eight years ago. From that event it grew and now she and her husband, Howie, host a number of events throughout the month across Durham Region and sometimes beyond.

Jacqueline does not take all of the credit for the success of the group,

“What the BOSs’S Business Network is today is all because of our member’s suggestions and ideas. It has been built by them.”

She encourages all members to recommend how to improve the network and the events.

Jacqueline strongest motivator is to keep the cost down for the members, making it affordable to the masses. Taking the financial decision out of the equation.

These events would not be possible without the encouragement and support Jacqueline gets from her husband, Howard.

“I would never have done this alone. Howie, helps me to grow and be creative. We have a great time hosting the events and working side-by-side. It would be a lonely road without his input, inspiration and assistance.”
